Adelaide establishment Hains & Co will turn five on February 1 this year and is celebrating with party that will double as a bushfire fundraiser.
Their Half a Decade ‘Sailor’ party will be held in Gilbert Place, with the proceeds of the evening to be donated to the fire relief efforts to assist with bushfire recovery in South Australia.
The profits will be distributed over various SA based charities, raised through drink sales, an auction and the opportunity to simply donate directly.
On the night, the staff are donating their time and the suppliers of the bar are donating their full support behind the fundraising event.
Dressing up isn’t compulsory, however a sailor’s hat will score you a free shot and the full get-up a little bit more.
The doors of Hains & Co open at 4pm, however the event officially starts at 7pm and goes till late, with entry being $20.
For the $20, you’ll get a drink on arrival and, of course, the chance to support the fire-aid effort.
