Have you ever wanted to combine the delicious taste of a taco with some premier sushi? If yes, you’re in luck.
Hanamura Modbury has just announced a pop-up event in Rundle Mall for the next month, with ‘Sushi Tacos’ featuring on the menu.
Hanamura is a staple for the Adelaide restaurant scene, offering a contemporary Japanese dining experience from their primary location in Norwood and the new location in Modbury.
Their full menu is also available for takeaway or delivery through UberEats. Their service philosophy involves serving fresh Japanese cuisine paired with Japanese sake, beers and whiskeys, alongside local wines and cocktails. This pop-up event follows a recent rebranding for Hanamura Modbury, formerly Sushi Planet.
Hanamura sushi ranges from your ‘standard’ sushi dishes to more traditional Japanese options, such as sashimi and nigiri. They also offer an extensive vegan menu with dishes incorporating fruits, vegetables and traditional beans.
The event, located next to H&M in Rundle Mall, will feature a modified menu of Hanamura Modbury’s sushi selection, served in taco form. Despite the relatively small selection of eats, it is a fun selection of what Hanamura has on offer.
The pop-up stand has a small, fenced area with hanging lights and fun atmosphere, acting as the perfect place to grab a quick bite while on the move.
This sushi pop-up runs from Thursday 28th of July to the 21st of August. The pop-up stand can be found in Gawler Place, next to H&M.
