Happy Endings is the queer Sunday session launching this Mad March

Happy Endings is the newest event in town, set to shake, sparkle and shine the Sunday blues away this March 6.

Summer may be over, but Mad March is in full swing – and this brand new event kicking off this Sunday, March 6 is taking the month-long craziness to the next level.

Happy Endings is the newest event in town, set to shake, sparkle and shine the Sunday blues away.

Think Drag Shows, DJs, Happy Hour and mouth-watering tapas taking over LIGHT, The Lab and Beags Courtyard for the ultimate queer Sunday session.

Sunday doesn’t have to mean the weekend is coming to a close, with Happy Endings bringing the glittery fun, booze and beats to the CBD. Kicking the city’s vibrant art capital into overdrive, you don’t want to miss this.

“Because where better is there to kick on from the night before – or even the night before, before?” event organisers Kane Enable & Stephen Craddock.

“From outside in the Courtyard, to inside the pop-filled pleasures of The Lab, Happy Endings is where you’ll find plenty of ways to end your weekend with a smile.”

The extraordinary hostess for the inaugural Happy Endings is Ellie Delight, taking the stage alongside the ever-fabulous Hunty Dumpty and event producer Kane Enable.

The Sunday session starts at 1pm, outside in the Beags Courtyard where you can soak in the last of the summer rays. Soundtracking the Sunday session is DJs Seamus Lennon and Stacy Queen, bringing their house and disco beats to the Happy Endings crowds.

Watch the sky turn vibrant shades of pink and orange as the sun sets over the heart of the CBD. The change from day to night singles the best time of all – happy hour – helping you continue your Sunday festivities late into the evening.

Settle into The Lab after 5pm to carry on your weekend antics. The multi-functional immersive space, fitted out with a vibrant LED screen and funky light fixtures, is the perfect place to delve into all the glittery Happy Endings fun in store.

“The perfect Sunday session, every time, elevated thanks to the amazing circuitry and digital art found only at Light,” Craddock and Enable say.

“Every week needs a Happy Ending.”
