Hart Of The Barossa Cellar Door Celebrates Reopening With Intimate Lunches

To celebrate cellar door restrictions easing, Hart of the Barossa are welcoming back wine lovers with open arms and a taste of their famous long lunches.

Like many wineries across South Australia during the pandemic, Hart of the Barossa were required to temporarily close their cellar door — but with cellar door restrictions easing as of June 1, they are welcoming back wine lovers with open arms and delightful lunches!

If you’ve never heard of Hart of the Barossa’s sell-out, indulgent long lunches — let’s just say, you’re missing out.

Held only on the second Friday of each month, and selling out in advance almost every time, these leisurely long lunches are the epitome of Barossan hospitality, intimate and indulgent.

In addition to the return of these spectacular lunches, Hart of the Barossa are celebrating being back by hosting a number of thanksgiving style luncheons in their Tasting Shed — one every Friday and Saturday for the month of June.

Enjoy a handcrafted, three-course meal of delectable regional produce paired with a flight of six Hart of the Barossa wines on a Friday or Saturday during June from 12pm to 2pm.

Bookings are essential and are $75pp for group bookings of ten people — so gather your family and friends and make sure you book ahead of time.

Please note these thanksgiving lunches are different from the usual monthly long lunches. For more information on the infamous monthly long lunches, including upcoming dates, head over here.

Alongside these lunches, the Tasting Shed will also re-open every Friday and Saturday for Hart of the Barossa’s farm-gate grape to glass wine tasting experience from 11am to 4pm.

Note that they can only host a maximum of ten wine lovers inside and ten alfresco, so book your tasting experience ahead to avoid disappointment.

If you too want to celebrate with Hart of the Barossa with a thanksgiving style lunch or a wine tasting, head on over to hartofthebarossa.com.au to book.

The cellar door is located at 931 Light Pass Road, Vine Vale 5352.
