This year’s Harvest Rock music festival has been cancelled, with hopes to return in the future.
Harvest Rock announced the cancellation on their Instagram today, saying: “Hey Harvest Rockers, and lovers of live music, wine, food and brew. We’ve been working hard to make Harvest Rock III another incredible event, however we have made the difficult decision to not hold the festival in 2024.
“We appreciate the ongoing support of the South Australian Government and we look forward to Harvest Rock in the future.
“For our dedicated fans who bought early tickets in 2023 you will automatically be refunded through the original point of purchase within 14 days.”
Their website added: “This decision was made to ensure that Harvest Rock continues to deliver the experience that our local, national and international fans have come to know and love into the future.
“We would like to recognise and appreciate the ongoing support of the South Australian Government for Harvest Rock.”
Harvest Rock’s second edition last October featured exclusive performances by Jamiroquai, Beck, Nile Rodgers & Chic, and many others. The festival’s cancellation follows a trend of high-profile music festivals being called off in 2024, including Splendour in the Grass, Groovin’ the Moo, and Spilt Milk.
Despite the setback, the festival is hopeful about returning in the future to deliver another epic festival experience.
