With Adelaide’s West End soon to be housing the new Royal Adelaide Hospital, Adelaide’s East End is set to transform. The grand redevelopment plans were announced just last month and now the government wants your opinion.
This Sunday, November 27th the Royal Adelaide Hospital site will be having a community open day. It’s your chance to find out more from the Renewal SA team and from the many display boards showing the proposed vision. And most importantly it’s your chance to give your views on the current transformation plans.
The government’s proposal for the site features more than two hectares transferred to the Adelaide Botanic Gardens, opening 70 per cent of the site to public use, creating an education and innovation hub, a residential precinct and much more.
So, pop past the Palm House lawns at the Adelaide Botanic Gardens between 11:00am to 3:00pm to share your views and shape how Adelaide’s East End will be transformed. But, if you can’t make it, don’t worry. You can still have your input through the online survey available on their website from Sunday, November 27, to Monday, December 4.
