Are you a big fan of the LEGO Masters Reality TV Show, building your own creations or viewing other people’s intricate works of blocky good art?
Then you’ll love stepping into LEGO heaven at The Hills Onkabrix expo, which is returning this year with spectacular builds by the fantastic Southern Bricks Lego Users Group.
The event organised by the Onkaparinga Rotary Club (Lobethal) will be held on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th of March at the Oakbank School Gymnasium, where the parking is free.
It’s for the young and the old, with more than 100 metres of spectacular table displays.
The displays will feature builds that include themed LEGO, Batman LEGO, railways and roads, places to live, great ball contraptions, as well as interactive areas.

The event is a smaller scale replication of the popular BRIXPO event that’s the largest fan-run LEGO exhibition in South Australia. The Hills Onkabrix expo is a great experience for those who are interested in exhibiting at larger events such as BRIXPO, but have never displayed before.
The Brick Lady who specialises in hard to find new and used LEGO products, merchandise and accessories in the Adelaide Hills will also be there with products available to purchase.
She often pops up at local markets, fairs and fetes with popular sets like Harry Potter, Jurassic World, Disney, Minecraft and Friends just to name a few.
While you’re there, you’ll be able to purchase coffee, Ice cream, donuts and there will be a Sausage Sizzle if you would like a substantial bite to eat.
The organisation and running of the LEGO fan event will provide something really special for the Adelaide Hills.
Profits from the event held by the Lobethal based Onkaparinga Rotary Club will go towards fire, drought and other disaster relief.
