Head to La Boca Bar and Grill for an Argentinian Christmas

La Boca Bar and Grill is serving breakfast, lunch and dinner inspired by the South American country for Christmas.

The end of the year always brings about the “out with the old, in with the new,” mentality, so why not try a new tradition: Christmas meals with an Argentinian twist.

La Boca Bar and Grill is serving breakfast, lunch and dinner inspired by the South American country.

The Christmas breakfast begins at 8 am with a glass of sparkling wine and assorted pastries, with main courses of grilled bacon, salmon or pastrami. Side options of Spanish potato omelettes and smoked chorizo are sure to add Argentinian flare to the dishes.

Choice of barista coffee, freshly brewed tea and juices are available.

The Christmas lunch, which runs from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm, aims to combine local foods with Argentinian influences––fresh South Australian sea food will balance with wood-fired, asado-inspired cured meats.

Nicolas Arriola, the head chef, designed the menu to be served platter-style, packed with Argentinian foods such as empanadas, Argentinian gravy, pork asador, corn cakes and traditional desserts.

The Christmas dinner runs from 6pm – 10pm and has the same platter style, menu, and pricing as the lunch. Although Argentinian cuisine tends to be meat-heavy, vegetarian platters are available upon request.
