Fancy a wine-tour-esque experience without having to venture out of Adelaide? This Thursday, the Arkaba Hotel is partnering with Longview Vineyard to present a decadent, Italian inspired, four-course feast at their iconic, Glen Osmond Road destination.
The Longview Vineyard is well known for its variety of northern Italian inspired wines, including their Nebbiolo and Pinot Grigio. At Thursday night’s dinner, whilst guests enjoy the tastes of Italia, the vineyard is set to debut a brand new wine – their Barbera 2018 vintage. This new release has been ten years in the making so the night will certainly be one of celebration.
Here’s what to expect on the menu:
Canapés
Prosciutto, pickled artichoke and parmesan on crusty bread
Taleggio, basil and olive arancini with sugo sauce
Paired with Longview Wagtail Sparkling PNC
Entrée
White anchovy, ricotta, smoked pepper, pickled fennel, fried caper, crostini
Paired with Longview Queenie Pinot Grigio 2018 and Longview Nebbiolo Rosato 2018
Main
Lamb ravioli, goat’s milk, sumac, peas, preserved lemon yoghurt
Paired with Longview Nebbiolo Fresco 2018 and Longview Barbera 2018
Dessert
Coffee semifreddo, biscotti and chocolate soil, pecans, apricot gel
Paired with Longview Nebbiolo Riserva 2017
