Head To Unley Today To Celebrate Women’s Suffrage 125th Anniversary

On Wednesday August 21 at Gillingham Hall join Senator Penny Wong and others to celebrate the 125th anniversary of Women’s Suffrage and celebrating SA becoming the first Australian state allowing women to vote.

Beginning at 12:30 with a 1pm start there will be a panel discussion between influential SA women on Wednesday August 21, including the presence of Labor Senator Penny Wong.

The afternoon will show a thought provoking discussion between different Australian women lead by Amanda Blair, Master of Ceremonies, as they discuss the past of South Australia and future of women.

The Honorable Penny Wong, Dr Niki Vincent, (Equal Opportunity Commissioner for South Australia), Claire Lennon (Local Unley philanthropist), Isobel Marshall and Eloise Hall (creators of TABOO women’s products) will all be in attendance.
