If you, like most of us here at Glam, were excited to the core by the Falls line-up then hold onto your hats because a selection of the best international and local talent from the Falls bill are on their way to Adelaide!
Introducing Heaps Good, Adelaide’s newest one-day event brought to you by the producers of Spin Off. Taking over the Adelaide Showgrounds on January 6, Heaps Good will take place across two carefully programmed stages, including a warehouse-style area designed especially for the ultimate electronic music experience.
And the inaugural line-up is a stand out with one of the UK’s most successful bands to emerge in recent times, The Arctic Monkeys set to headline. Showcasing their iconic discography which has been streamed a staggering 9 billion times, it’s the first time the British rockers have graced our shores since 2014.
But it doesn’t stop there. Critically acclaimed Scottish standouts CHVRCHES, forward-thinking beatmaker Jamie xx and club culture icon Peggy Gou are also making their way to our fair city.
These international legends will be joined by local stars Ocean Alley as well as Fremantle four piece Spacey Jane hot off the back of their hugely anticipated new album Here Comes Everybody that drops in June. Young Franco, King Stingray, Peach PRC and Triple J’s Ebony Boadu round out the top acts with more to be announced soon.
Perfectly timed post New Year’s Eve so you’re recovered, feeling fresh and ready to kick 2023 off the right way, the addition of Heaps Good Festival solidifies Adelaide’s title as The Festival State.
