Hearty Warming Winter Menu Changes At CIBO

Cibo Espresso launched its rich and hearty new winter menu.

The new menu embraces seasonal change, placing an emphasis comfort food to help you ease into the cooler weather.  

Seven new savoury menu items have been created by Cibo Espresso Director and Executive Chef Salvatore Pepe. Salvatore’s favourite new item is the Peperoni Ripieni, a red capsicum stuffed with roast vegetable risotto. He says: “this product is not just for vegetarians, because it packed full of flavor, perfect for winter.”

Another favourite is the Contadino – lean porchetta, thinly sliced and combined with roast capsicum and salsa verde in a panino. “Porchetta is an Italian favourite,” says Salvatore, “I am thrilled to finally see this dish on the menu!”

The sweets menu has seen similar changes, reflecting customer’s desire for a richer winter dessert. Cibo Espresso Director and Executive Pastry Chef Claudio Ferraro has already received a great response from the new treats.

Winter sweets such as the Torta Cioccolato – a rich flourless chocolate cake, the  Cup Cake Cioccolato – raspberry and chocolate cup cake, Crostatina Rabarbaro – rhubarb and raspberry tart compote tart, to name a few are some of the amazing new items you will find on our menu.
