Located in the world-renowned wine region that is McLaren Vale, Heidrun Estate boasts a cellar door that is a cut above the rest.

With its large lawn area, charming lavender gardens and quaint, cottage-style build, it’s one of those ‘must-visit’ cellar doors on everyone’s list.

And while a stunning cellar door is a drawcard, a nice drop of wine is essential to complete the package. Luckily, Heidrun Estate has a gorgeous selection of contemporary wines and it’s just our luck that they have a new release!

Symbolising warm, romantic evenings and the golden rays washing across you as the sun sets over the horizon, ‘Golden Hour’ is the latest addition to the Heidrun Estate collection. A Sauvignon Blanc for every occasion, ‘Golden Hour’ boasts a delightful flavour profile of nettles, melon and tropical fruit. A delicious, must-try that is sure to quickly become a new favourite.

Having been in the pipeline for about a year, ‘Golden Hour’ serves as a fun and playful white wine to join Heidrun’s ‘Wine For Every Occasion’ range. Already boasting the ‘Always Sparkling’, ‘After Dark’ Grenache and ‘Table Top’ Shiraz, ‘Golden Hour’ rounds out the collection and celebrates what the creators believe is the best part of the day.

Of course, everyone involved is over the moon with the newest addition and to celebrate, Heidrun Estate is holding a dreamy, twilight tea. Grab your friends and settle in for a wholesome evening with dinner followed by a special outdoor movie screening of musical sensation, Mamma Mia!

While the Autumn sun sets behind the vines, you’ll enjoy a glass of ‘Golden Hour’ Sav Blanc as well as a delicious spread prepared by chef Billy Petropoulos of Billy’s Table. Billy has personally designed a special menu for the evening and will be joined by Heidrun’s much loved regular chef Sam in the kitchen on the night. Across 8 small plates, the boys will use fresh, local produce to showcase the best of the Fleurieu Peninsula.

Beginning at 5pm, your ticket includes a glass of Golden Hour, food throughout the evening and a special gift to take home. Warm blankets are encouraged to snuggle up in and there will be just a few bean bags available on a first-in, best-dressed basis.

Don’t want to worry about getting there or home? Heidrun have you covered with buses running to and from the venue should you need.

This ticketed event is sure to sell out fast with Early Bird prices available until April 18th and a discount for groups of 8 or more.

Golden Hour Launch Party takes place on Saturday May 7th  (aka Mother’s Day Eve)

Heidrun Estate is located at 67 Kays Road, McLaren Vale SA 5171.
