With over 120,000 animals threatened with extinction worldwide, there’s never been a better time to show your love for animals.

Zoos SA is calling on animal and conservation lovers to go wild this Valentine’s Day with a selection of heart-warming and tummy fluttering conservation-focussed gifts, messages and experiences.

“Valentine’s Day is a great way to show your love for conservation and that special person,” says Elaine Bensted, CE of Zoos SA.

“We have a range of ideas that support Zoos SA’s vital conservation work this Valentine’s Day from the romantic and cheeky to innovative and exciting – we encourage anyone looking for a truly unique gift to take a look at our site.”

Gift certificates with heart and a laugh

Zoos SA has come up with a number of sweet certificates ranging from the otterly romantic (think two entwined otters) to the hot and horny (featuring a Southern-White Rhino, of course).

This gift not only delivers a heartfelt message to that special someone, but also donates money to conservation efforts that have seen species like the Przewalski’s Horse, Orange-bellied Parrot and Greater Bilby released back into the wild.

Cameo videos come to Zoos SA

Move over Jerry Springer, Caitlyn Jenner, Lil’Kim and thousands of other celebrities – there are new furry stars in town.

In the name of raising funds for conservation, Zoos SA has lined up a host of furry friends to send unique Valentine’s messages to your other half.

To order a personalised animal greeting, simply hop onto Cameo and search for Adelaide Zoo’s Meerkat Mob, the Groovy Goat Gang, Sophie and Louise the Koalas and Aonika the Aldabra Giant Tortoise.

All Cameo messages are tailored to your wants and needs, making them the perfect way to tell that special person how you feel.

After the roses have wilted and chocolates are gone, people will still be able to book Cameos at Adelaide Zoo for birthdays, anniversaries, welcome home and get well soon wishes or any other message you want to say with a unique animal touch.

All funds raised through Zoos SA’s Cameos will go towards Zoos SA’s vital conservation work.
