Help Clean Up The Beach And You Can Get FREE Beer

So you’ve Marie Kondo-ed your house. Want to do some more good and get out there and help the planet?

There’s heaps of plastic out there that’s littering our coastlines, and sparking no joy at all, so beer brand Corona has teamed up with environmental group Parley for the Oceans to try and clean it up.

And if you want to help out, they’ll give you FREE BEER!

The project will involve events taking place across the country from February to June, and everything kicks off right here in Adelaide.

On Saturday February 9 they’ll be at Glenelg beach, where they’ll lead a thorough clean-up and removal of waste from the beach (you can also learn a thing or two about being more plastic-conscious).

The event starts at The Moseley Beach Club with registrations from 2pm. The safety briefing will happen at 2.50pm, with the official clean starting at 3pm.

And because there’s nothing like an ice-cold bevvie after a big clean up, they’re going to reward you for your efforts. After the clean you’ll head back to The Moseley and every volunteer who registers will get two ice-cold Coronas, some snacks and a snazzy reusable stainless steel bottle.
