Help support the Jodi Lee Foundation at this year’s Melbourne Cup luncheon at Sean’s Kitchen

Hosted by Smooth FM presenter and Channel 7 lifestyle presenter, Kelly Golding, this year’s Sean’s Kitchen event holds special meaning sponsoring the Jodi Lee Foundation for Bowel Cancer.

It’s the race that stops the nation and even though we may be across the border, we fully intend to succumb to the slogan and enjoy the Melbourne Cup as if we too had a public holiday.

If you’re in the same boat and want to celebrate the iconic race day in style, look no further than Sean’s Kitchen at SkyCity. With all the glitz and glamour you would expect from an event at one of Adelaide’s premier dining venues, this year’s luncheon holds a very special meaning with the popular eatery sponsoring the Jodi Lee Foundation – a local charity dedicated to raising money and awareness for bowel cancer prevention.

Hosted by the recently appointed Smooth FM breakfast announcer and Channel 7 lifestyle presenter, Kelly Golding, the Sean’s Kitchen Melbourne Cup event includes a 3-hour cocktail package with free-flowing bubbles throughout the day as well as continuous canapes from the award-winning chefs at Sean’s Kitchen.

“I’m looking forward to a fun-filled afternoon with delicious food and fashion in support of the Jodi Lee Foundation,” Kelly says, also wearing her new hat as an ambassador for the Foundation.

Known for its use of fresh, local produce, Head Chef, Sean Connolly, and his team have a knack for cooking the perfect steaks and the finest seafood with the Melbourne Cup menu a continuation of what they know and love. Think kingfish tartare, lamb tacos, salmon gravlax and charcuterie boards filled with SAs finest smallgoods.

The restaurant will be fitted with TVs to ensure you won’t miss a moment of the racing action and tunes by DJ Lesley Williams will be played throughout the event to create the perfect race day vibe.

Of course, all attendees are asked to dress to impress with Adelaide fashion stylist, Michelle Beltrame judging the competition for Best Dressed with showstopping prizes up for grabs.

Melbourne Cup at Sean’s Kitchen takes place on Tuesday November 1st from 12pm – 3pm

Tickets are $149 and can be purchased here.
