It’s been a long, cold Winter, and locals and those from further afar are all eagerly awaiting the return of beach weather.
This week has been a gleeful glimpse of what we can expect this Summer, which has us chomping at the bit for Henley Beach’s newest restaurant.
And while we all thought there was only one on the horizon, it turns out there are TWO!
While we await the restaurant that will sit as part of the redevelopment of the old Evida restaurant space, the doors at Caffe Primo Henley Beach will be closing this Sunday – with a new offering opening next week.
SALT at Henley Beach has quietly snuck under the radar, and is planning to open its doors a week from Wednesday.
With a strong focus on their drinks offering, the venue has highlighted that their bar will be stocking some great South Australian brands. There will be craft beers including some of our favourites from Prancing Pony, as well as featuring a cocktail list (think Mojitos, Espresso Martinis etc). Their wine list is also set to be a cracker, including Paracombe Wines which always go down a treat.
As for food? They’ve been a little quiet on that front, but as soon as we have the scoop, we’ll be sure to let you know! The photo they’ve posted sure looks good though! Pork belly?
Regardless of what’s on the menu, with the cracking view from their verandah over the ocean, and what we’ve seen of the drinks list, SALT at Henley is set to be a brilliant place to kick back and enjoy one of our favourite Adelaide beaches.
You’ll find SALT at Henley at 207 The Esplanade, Henley Beach.
