We can never have too many outlets for wine, and with the winter months rolling in there’s no better time to welcome the newest of them all, Clutch Wines.
Launching just a few weeks ago, new kid on the block Clutch comes from Henley Beach food hub Acacia, and are offering up a delivery service of wines from across the globe with a massive range to choose from.
The thing about Clutch however, is that they offer a unique and hard to find selection of wines sommelier and manager Henrique Lemos tells us.
“All wines are small batch, small producers and minimal intervention. Some of the international wines are very slow allocation to Australia. And the Japanese wines are new in Australia. Natural wines with no SO2,” says Henrique.
Right now, Clutch’s top pick is the super rare Chenin Blanc, with only two bottles currently available. Although they have limited availability, Henrique says there will continue to be new vintage online at Clutch toward the end of the year.
Although brand-new, Clutch Wines have seen some favourites popping through from online orders including 2019 Eric Goypieron Chardonnay from Jura with a number of Australian wines also ramping up to be best sellers such as 2020 Valle du Venom Chenin Blanc and Cobaw Ridge Pinot Noir.
Not only can you purchase individual wines at Clutch, you can also loop yourself into a subscription – yes you read that right, a wine subscription!
Clutch offers a number of subscription boxes that are tailored to exactly what you like with boxes specific to Australian wines, as well as International boxes if you’re feeling like a trip for your tastebuds.
Subscription holders not only get their monthly box of liquid gold, but also ongoing offers across the site including a 10% discount on all purchases.
Wines will be dispatched on the 5th of every month, with Clutch also giving out prizes to those who stick around for more than three months.
