Kick off your Grand Final weekend with a visit to the Henley Square Markets as they kick off their summer season.
Saturday’s market will be held in Port Adelaide, and Sunday’s will be held at the Henley Beach location.
As per usual, the long-running family friendly events will host around 60 stalls full of local artists and designers, food trucks and entertainment.
Both markets will include locally made skincare products, candles and decor and baby wear. Port Adelaide’s stalls gather more of an eclectic feel, whereas Henley Beach have more of a seaside touch to their offerings.
Regardless of such, both markets welcome dogs through the stalls, as there are plenty of treats and accessories on offer for four-legged friends.
Market coordinator Anna Vincekovic said the markets were passionate about supporting local businesses, as most returning stallholders are those who got their start at the markets.
There will also be face painting and activities for the kids, including giant jenga for kids of all ages to join in with.
The markets will be held on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 September, and will run on the last weekend of every month until May next year.
