South Australia’s current leading 4WD Dirt Rally driver, Henry Nott is heading to the Copyworld Walky 100 Rally at Robertstown this weekend, in a bid to secure his position as the 2014 South Australian Rally Champion.
The Copyworld Walky 100 is round 4 of the South Australian Rally Championships with one round remaining on October 26th at Second Valley.
Henry Nott, from NOTTracing, plans to compete at the final round in Second Valley to finish off the 2014 season, however if he wins this weekends round he will secure the title.
In addition to the South Australian Rally Championships, Nott has also been competing in the Australian Rally Championships and is currently sitting second on the National 4WD championship leader board.
”This Year has come with many changes for me as a driver, but I have been able to achieve these results so far with the help and support from my family, crew, navigator (Tania Wearing) and some amazing sponsors. I am a proud South Australian and love representing our state, so its great that I have the support of some local businesses including Delina Brothers Crash repairs, Glynde Mitre 10, Lightforce and Exhaust Technology just to name a few. I couldn’t have competed this season if it wasn’t for my sponsors, I can’t thank them enough for helping me realise my dreams’ Nott says.
‘Having the team at Mike Dale Automotive working on the EVO has ensured I’ve had a reliable car this season’ Nott says.
‘Competing against Australia’s best drives, is an amazing experience. I am keeping up with them throughout most stages and recording some great times. Just to finish Rally Australia in such great company is an achievement in its self’ says Nott with a smile on his face.
With only 3 more rounds to go, Henry looks forward to finishing off the season safely and with the possibility of two major titles under his race suite!
