Henry’s Table Takes Home Award For Best New Restaurant

Restaurant owner Richard McLeod says the win comes as a result of combing winning designers and chefs with the establish expertise of long-term Ayers House staff to achieve the award.

Henry’s Table, located at the iconic Ayers House, has just received the award for Best Restaurant at the 2019 SA Savour Australia Restaurant & Catering Hostplus Awards for Excellence.

In just only six months of operation, this is the second award this prestigious and elegant restaurant has won, also having taken home the Open Table People’s Choice Award.

Henry’s Table offers a unique dining experience for its consumers centred around a cutting-edge “no rules” menu.

There are four elegant rooms available for private bookings and the bar has an exceptional variety of wine showcasing some of the best South Australia has to offer.

The Awards for Excellence is a nationally recognised and independently judged awards program that honours phenomenal service and culinary talent across the state.

This particular award is the only program in Australia where the judging criteria is determined by the consumers, who rank what is crucial to them in the dining experience.

Henry’s Table is the revival and modern expression of the previously famous “Henry Ayers Restaurant” that operated in the same space from the 70’s till the 90’s.

Ayers House has also been recognised for their elegant events, conferences and weddings.
