As wine and cheese lovers, we are forever spoilt for choice in Adelaide, especially when it comes to Winter Reds. There are so many incredible events, it’s almost impossible to decide on what to do. But this year feels a little easier thanks to two of South Australia’s favourite brands who are running the perfect private cheese and wine masterclass.
The Henschke and Udder Delights families met over wine and cheese (go figure) in 2014. Three years later, they decided they wanted to let you guys in on the fun, and so they’ve created an intimate masterclass to show you the best of what they have to offer.
If you head down to Udder Delights in Hahndorf on Sunday 30 July, you’ll enjoy Lenswood red varieties matched to perfection with delightful artisan cheeses. That’s not all they’re doing for Winter Reds though, these guys go above and beyond. In addition to their masterclass, they also have their Fire Your Fondue event. Treat yourself to a bubbling molten cheesy lava with dipping morsels including locally smoked bratwurst, cornichons, balsamic pickled onions, seasonal fruit and warm ciabatta. This mouthwatering cheesy indulgence will be served with a crimson glass of 2014 Henschke Giles Pinot Noir.
