Hey Diddle Wines, the brainchild of Port Adelaide footy players Brad Ebert and Tom Jonas, is introducing a refreshing twist to the wine scene with their all-new Shiraz Stubbies.
You read that right. Drinking from the bottle just got way classier.
These compact 330ml cap-top bottle wonders come in a convenient four-pack, providing the perfect solution for those seeking a more relaxed and controlled wine-drinking experience.
Each stubby holds approximately a glass and a half of Hey Diddle’s much-loved 2021 Shiraz, making it an ideal choice for an easy-going weeknight or a laid-back weekend.
Brad Ebert and Tom Jonas, the co-founders of Hey Diddle Wines, have always aimed to offer wine enthusiasts a combination of great taste, convenience, and a touch of enjoyment.
“Our focus has always been on great wine that’s no fuss, easy drinking and a bit of fun – the stubby format lends itself well to that,” Tom said.
“As far as we’re aware, these are the only wine stubbies on the market.
“It’s a simple idea that we came up with early days because it suited the way we like to kick back and enjoy a wine. Turns out the format was anything but simple to execute, but we’re really proud of how they’ve finally come up.”
Tom mentioned that the stubby format was born out of the desire to bridge the gap for those who want a glass to themselves without committing to a full bottle. This compact design also preserves the premium quality of their 2021 Shiraz for a longer duration compared to an opened bottle.
“It keeps our premium 2021 Shiraz fresh and at its best for longer than if you were to keep a bottle going for a few days,” Tom noted.
Hey Diddle Wines, which started as a pipedream between Brad Ebert, Tom Jonas, and renowned South Aussie winemaker Ben Chipman in 2017, has rapidly evolved into a range of red, white, and rose varieties. Their commitment to producing wine that reflects their passion and pursuit of excellence is evident in every sip.
With the introduction of their Shiraz Stubbies, Hey Diddle continues to bring a refreshing and convenient dimension to the world of wine.
Hey Diddle 2021 Shiraz stubbies retail at $64 for a four pack. You can purchase them here.
