Canadian six-piece band Hey Rosetta! return to Australia to perform alongside one of our hottest exports, The Jezabels.
Hey Rosetta!, consisting of leading man Tim Baker, cellist Romesh Thavanathan, violinist Kinley Downling, bassist Josh Ward, drummer Phil Maloney and guitarist Adam Hogan, formed in 2005 and have since blossomed into a powerful group whose explosive live shows have earned them a devoted following.
The band’s new album, Seeds, produced by Tony Doogan (Belle and Sebastian, Mogwai, Wintersleep) has been hailed by critics as 'vibrant and contoured… captivating from the start' and 'an album that has a consistent drive to it, more rewarding the deeper you delve'. It was also recently short-listed for the prestigious Polaris Music Prize.
