Hilton Adelaide have again put their best foot forward with an innovative collaboration and creative design element at this year’s Land Rover Polo in the City.
The Hilton Adelaide team have created a glamorous, refined, and ambient space at one of Adelaide’s most prestigious and popular events on the December calendar partnering with one of the states most creatively respected and beautifully presented furniture stores, Transforma. Together, the duo have designed a space that represents the luxury of both brands.
General Manager Hilton Adelaide, Mr Peer Norsell said “The Hilton Adelaide marquee has always been a premium event and space for our clients to enjoy. We strive continuously to reinvent our connection with our clients through unique and relevant events and experiences. Polo in the City offers us and our clients a brand and a creative moment that gives them a unique engagement and experience.”
Breaking the mould of marquees along the “golden strip” of the Polo in the City, Hilton Adelaide and Transforma will provide guests with rich and luxurious outdoor space with Italian pieces includes Varaschin and Fast. This will be the first time the 2018 pieces have been seen in Australia, following the Milan Furniture Fair earlier this year.
With lush out door greenery, tones of crisp whites and black, the space will see over 20 pieces from the exclusive 2018 collection.
Adding to this spectacular setting will be original artwork displayed by artist Kerry Armstrong. Guests will have their own private art gallery in the Hilton Adelaide marquee with paintings by the renound artist. The three original paintings created and personally selected by Kerry to be on display in the marquee will also be available for purchase. The new series Paddocks for Ponies represents Kerry’s emotionally narrative of her farm in the future.
Hilton Adelaide will yet again create and deliver an exceptional experience with their food menu, curated specifically for this event by Executive Sous Chef, Josh Gorman. Presenting the brand of Hilton Adelaide continues to be a priority with the food service, guests will enjoy the luxury of flowing food throughout the entire day along with Pol Roger champagne and an array of classic cocktails for their VIP guests.
Mr Janek Gazeki, Director of Urban Polo Association said “Urban Polo is proud to be partnering ‘Land Rover Polo in the City’ with the Adelaide Hilton for its seventh consecutive year, as the Official Hotel partner, and After Party venue. The After Party, in particular, has become part of the event fabric, and is very much a feature of ‘Land Rover Polo in the City’, as it heralds the conclusion of an arduous five week national series, which sees the events take place in all mainland capital cities. This year is particularly auspicious as the final of ‘World Series Polo’, vigorously contested between Team Haiti and Australia, will be played at the Adelaide event, which will really give the local crowd something to cheer for.”
Of course, if you’re not heading down to the Hilton Adelaide area at the actual event, you can always get around the official after party back at the hotel!
The after party is attended by the players, wives and partners, Adelaide’s social set and the media who continue to celebrate and enjoy the days festivities at the Hilton Adelaide either in the Lobby Lounge, Collins Bar or for a late dinner at Coal Cellar & Grill.
