Hilton Adelaide is set to unveil its most extensive renovation in more than 20 years with a $5 million investment set to transform the iconic hotel’s ground floor.

General Manager of Hilton Adelaide, Peer Norsell said the renovations would see a complete revitalisation of the space for both business and leisure travellers to the Adelaide market.

“The renovations are on track for completion this October. The new look and feel will stay true to the quality that is synonymous with the Hilton brand, but with unique detailing for a new take on luxury,” said Mr Norsell.

“We’re looking forward to unveiling this exciting space and inviting people to experience the new Hilton Adelaide’s restaurant and bar.” said Mr Norsell.

“The ground floor redevelopment started in 2013 with the introduction of the new Collins Bar and is slowly progressing throughout the hotel. We’re exploring every opportunity to continue our luxury offering.” said Mr Norsell.

Internationally renowned architects, Landini Associates is behind the design and aesthetic of the Hilton Adelaide redevelopment. Landini are working alongside the local creative team, Frame, to deliver a fresh space that will entice the senses in look, name and feel.

With more than 1400 square metres of space to redesign a welcoming restaurant and bar, the team has designed a sophisticated and timeless space that is unlike any other in Adelaide.

Included in the design will be two private dining rooms able to host up to 60 people, along with a third which is a more intimate private dining area hosting up to 10 people for an exclusive lunch or dinner.

The renovations will incorporate a mixture of materials with natural timbers, leather, marble, granite and other rich textures to create a luxurious space. The new redesign will see exposed pillars and ceilings, concrete slabs and large open spaces with bespoke furniture crafted to reflect the space and design with raw, simple lines reflecting modern Adelaide dining.

The financial investment and complete redesign and renovation of the Hilton Adelaide reflects the commitment that the hotel group has to investing in its local, national and international customers. Adelaide is creating a hub of activity and experiences with growing worldwide recognition.

The group is continuing to invest in the Hilton brand with a product that is of world class standard. The design, creation and execution of the transformation is a very exciting project and is reflective of the energetic growth of South Australia as a worldwide destination.

“This is going to be a space that is traditionally Hilton Adelaide but with that creative flair to truly modernise what we offer.” said Mr Norsell.
