Hindley Street’s Creative Culture On Show At November Street Markets

Combining a host of Hindley Street’s creative minds, these Street Markets will be a bring a breath of Spring air to the West.

The West End of our city has absolutely taken the lead over the last month since the sun began to shine, hosting a series of brilliant outdoor events including a cracking street party to celebrate our State. And after announcing a McLaren Vale Wine Region Street Party earlier this week, they’ve continued their red hot form in revealing the West End Street Markets on the afternoon of Saturday, 19th of November.

Hindley Street will be the star as the team behind DEW Drink Eat Work curate a showcase of the best of the strip and it’s neighbours. Think the outstanding work of JamFactory creatives, the awesome street art of Lisa King, the ever-incredible catalogue of Imprints Booksellers and the wonderful garments of SWOP Clothing Exchange to name but a taste of what will be on offer.

The culture of the strip has exploded with innovators of design and artwork in recent years, as well as the classics of trade and craft. And it will all finish up with an event at the wonderful cafe/co-working/wine bar DEW Drink Eat Work that evening with wines by Alpha Box & Dice, coffee by Dawn Patrol Roasters, rides by EcoCaddy, music, food trucks and more.

If this glorious weather we’re having continues, it sounds pretty ideal. So be sure to set aside 2-6pm on Saturday 19th of November for the West End Street Markets. It’s family friendly, free to check out and there’s plenty more to be announced via the Facebook Event as the day draws closer.
