Hindmarsh has officially started construction on ARC Bowden, a new project that will have a major impact on South Australia’s housing market. ARC Bowden is Hindmarsh’s 5th development in the area, one of the last opportunities to build near the park.

ARC Bowden is part of Hindmarsh’s plan to build a sustainable community, in line with Bowden’s goal of becoming an urban centre for professionals, workers, and families. “The State Government is working with the private industry to build hundreds of new homes at Bowden. The Bowden area will be a hive of activity this year as these developments take shape,” Minister for Housing and Urban Development, Nick Champion. “It’s great to see construction beginning on these projects which will add much needed housing supply close to the city, park lands and public transport.”
The ARC Bowden development will feature 145 modern apartments, including one and two bedroom homes and luxurious three bedroom penthouses. This 11 storey mixed-use development will also include four ground-floor retail spaces and various communal areas, all with views of the city, parklands, and beyond.
Located on Park Terrace, ARC Bowden offers direct access to the parklands, supporting an active, walkable lifestyle. With prices starting at $424,200, the development presents a rare opportunity to live in one of Adelaide’s most desirable areas.
