Hit the Barre at Club Rhythm with a Buddy & Keep Energised this Fringe Festival!

Rhythm @ The BarreWith so many shows to see, venues to visit and delectable delights to devour – it can be hard work making the most of all the Adelaide Fringe has to offer and keep your fitness on track at the same time! So grab a friend and give your staying power a jump-start this festival season with a fun new workout exclusive to North Adelaide boutique health & fitness studio, Club Rhythm.

Rhythm @ The Barre is a new style of ballet barre workout developed specifically by Club Rhythm’s highly trained fitness instructors and just launched this month.

Barre classes with names like Pure Barre, Barre3, Studio Barre, Callanetics and Barre Bee Fit have been taking the US by storm for the past year and these types of workouts are steadily gaining popularity in Australia. The common element is the use of a ballet barre (the handrail used for ballet exercise warm-ups) and a goal to create lean, toned muscles and promote grace and agility.

Drawing inspiration from many of the existing workouts, Club Rhythm developed its own ballet barre workout which ties in with the studio’s overall philosophy towards fitness.

“Our focus at Club Rhythm is to deliver a personalised and integrated approach to life-long health and fitness through individual and group training sessions, specialised Pilates and nutrition guidance,” says Club Rhythm owner/director, Magda Trofin.

“While still combining the fluid movements of dance and challenging ballet poses, Rhythm @ The Barre places a greater emphasis on incorporating the bio-mechanical principles of STOTT PILATES® and interval-based training. It’s challenging but fun and, with consistency, will achieve great results with improvement in strength, cardio and overall flexibility.”

Available to Club Rhythm members and non-members, Rhythm @ The Barre classes run for 60 mins and are set to a dynamic music soundtrack. They combine floor work with use of a ballet barre and props like STOTT toning & mini stability balls and resistance tubing.

The new workout complements the studios other sessions – Rhythm Pilates, Rhythm Cardio Tramp, South African Callanetics, Rhythm Stretching and Rhythm Cycling.

Rhythm @ The Barre classes are $22 per person* to attend, with discounts for multiple bookings.  Casual bookings are available for both group and individual sessions. For more info contact Club Rhythm on Ph: 08 8267 5400 or visit www.clubrhythm.com.au
