American actress Kathryn Newton has been spotted in a stunning gown from Paolo Sebastian’s Autumn/Winter 2025–26 couture collection, Scattered to the Winds. The rising Hollywood star appears in the newly released horror-comedy Ready or Not 2: Here I Come, which is currently screening in cinemas.

Kathryn was spotted on Instagram in a piece designed by Adelaide-born couturier Paul Vasileff. The pale pink mini dress is a showcase of craftsmanship and storytelling that has become synonymous with Paolo Sebastian. Known for its ethereal silhouettes and intricate detailing, the Scattered to the Winds collection is an homage to the power of true freedom, the bravery in our choices, and the beauty of claiming what rightfully belongs, all elements that were beautifully reflected in Kathryn’s show-stopping ensemble.

The design was intricate, featuring trapeze-style layering. Kathryn transformed the look by layering the soft piece over a much harsher black underlayer, which peeked through the sheer fabric.

Styled by Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn, the dress was paired with a thin black belt, black tights, and chunky Valentino patent platform pumps. The look was rounded out with her long blonde hair styled to frame her face and neutral makeup.

For South Australians, it adds to the long list of celebrities Paolo Sebastian is continuing to dress. Since its founding in Adelaide, the couture house has garnered global acclaim, gracing red carpets from Cannes to Hollywood while consistently showcasing the artistry and innovation of Australian design. Seeing one of its creations worn by a leading Hollywood actress is a powerful reminder of the state’s growing influence in the world of high fashion.

The Scattered to the Winds collection itself explores the beauty found in fleeting moments, capturing the connection between strength and delicacy. Presented as both a sartorial escape and a poetic ode to freedom, the collection reflects a heroine breaking away from her prescribed fate and stepping into a life entirely her own.

“There’s something seductive about this idea of packing our bags and leaving everything we know behind,” says Vasileff, creative director and designer. “I think it speaks to something inside all of us, this deeply human quality to imagine a better place and feel limitless in our potential.” Kathryn’s look embodied this vision flawlessly, bringing the collection to life beyond the runway and into the global spotlight.

As excitement continues for Ready or Not 2: Here I Come, Kathryn’s couture moment proves that the film isn’t the only thing drawing attention. This glamorous collaboration is yet another example of South Australian creativity captivating audiences worldwide.
