Home Brewed Musicians To Perform At Cooper’s Alive!

coopers aliveSA’s finest home brewed musicians hand-picked to perform at Cooper’s Alive 2010

Coopers Alive is back for a third year in October 2010, taking in eight venues across two weekends and featuring 28 of the best original South Australian bands.

The artists participate in a series of workshops provided by Music SA, which focus on the crucial aspects of creating and facilitating successful live events.

Each show is provided with a marketing and production budget courtesy of Coopers Brewery and The Australian Business Arts Foundation, which the artists use to create unique, one-off shows.

Previous shows have incorporated live audio and video recordings, concert lighting and video projections, guest DJs, street art, and even themed party nights.

Music SA is pleased to announce the line-up for Coopers Alive 2010:
20th Century Graduates, Adroit Effusive, Arcadia, Before The Aftermath,
Belle-Phonics, Box Elder, Brillig, Deafening Silence, DJ Sanchez, FutureFez, Hawks Of Alba, Headstrong Company, Isaw, Jimmy & The Mirrors, Lyla,
Mr. Goodnight, Paygen Elypsis, People Say, Phat Panda, Realizm,
Saving Savanah, SE BON KI RA, Self Preservation Society, Solartricity,
Steering By Stars, The Battery Kids, The Salvadors, and The Timbers.

Music SA’s Gordon Andersen says “We have hand picked what we believe are some of the best emerging and established bands in SA, covering Acoustic/Roots, Rock, Pop, Hip-Hop, Groove, Post Rock, World Music and Metal.

We believe that Coopers Alive proudly represents the quality and eclectic variety of music that’s brewing here in SA’s own back yard.”

Coopers Alive 2010 will be held Friday 15 and Saturday 16 October, Friday 22 and Saturday 23 October at the Crown & Sceptre Hotel, Ed Castle Hotel, Fowler’s Live, Jade Monkey, Jive, Promethean, Adelaide UniBar and the Wheatsheaf Hotel.
