It makes it the perfect location to enjoy warm buttermilk scones and petite treats all the while sipping on Champagne or enjoying a mocktail or two.
The Mayfair Hotel is an ode to luxury and is a significant historical landmark with a story to tell.
It occupies a central Adelaide location and is an iconic, historic building in its own right. When walking into the restaurant and down the ornate stairway you’ll notice the sophistication and welcoming warmth of the Art Deco era interspersed with modern flourishes, a grand piano for pomp and light jazz.
You can start with the classic Sparkling High Tea option for $75, upgrade with the Champagne High Tea for $85 or go all out with the Bottomless Sparkling High Tea for $110.
“The Easter long weekend is the perfect time to relax and splurge with your girlfriends and family members, and what better way to do that than at high tea at the Mayflower.

You’ll be digging into a range of sweets and pastries including scones with raspberry jam, spiced chocolate-rubbed roast beef with on rye bread, classic roast chicken salad tea sandwiches, mushroom frittata, chocolate-dipped strawberry sachertorte and more.
All the delicacies are hand made on site by The Mayfair’s chefs. Culinary Director Guy Stanaway has 20 years in the industry with experience in creating a menu with fresh offerings utilising South Australian produce.
The Mayfair have been doing high tea for years and know how to put on a stunning afternoon for you and your party.
