Make your next wine tour one to remember with a horse drawn carriage trotting you between cellar doors.

Brought to you by Carriage of Occasion, the horse drawn wine tours take you across the Langhorne Creek Wine Region.

The horse and carriage transports guests to highly regarded and well awarded cellar doors and wine makers where they are welcomed to taste wines and sample the local produce.

Stops along the tour include Bremerton, Lake Breeze, Bleasdale, Kimbolton, and The Winehouse, which also houses Meechi Brewery. Guests will taste their way across the venues while the horses sample grass as they wait.

The horse drawn wine tours offer a unique experience where passengers are welcomed to enjoy the tranquillity of the ambient travel, share a cheese platter with friends, and learn the history of the region.

The 3.5 hour tours are $400 for up to 4 people and $650 for up to 7 people.

Carriage of Occasion also offer a range of other horse drawn services so there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

For families, they have a school holiday special of ‘horse drawn bear hunts’ around Strathalbyn.

Meanwhile, there’s a ‘seniors special’ accommodating for the elderly or mobility impaired.

They do a ‘behind the scenes’ experience allowing people to get hands on with the horses. They’ll be able to brush them, help to put on their harnesses, and just enjoy hugging and feeding the rest of the herd.

Carriage of Occasion help make your special event even more memorable with horse drawn carriages for weddings, funerals, hens days and more.

The business was established by Shaye Clark who has always had a passion for horses. She grew her business from this and loves to share her beautiful horses with her clients.
