Hotel Alba to host glamorous poolside fashion showcase at ADL Fashion Week finale

ADL Fashion Week will wrap up at Hotel Alba’s glamorous Summer Pool Party, presenting top Australian fashion poolside.

Hotel Alba is set to finish ADL Fashion Week (AFW) with a splash, hosting a Summer Pool Party that will feature 15 prominent South Australian and national fashion labels. Scheduled for midday, Sunday, 13th October 13th, the event will showcase the latest collections perfect for this season’s wardrobe.

The Mediterranean-inspired surroundings of Hotel Alba will complement the poolside runway, which will expertly styled by Mirella Romano. Guests can expect to see new offerings from well-known local brands such as Acler, Significant Other, The Wolf Gang, Binny, couture+love+madness, Frida Las Vegas, and Katya Komarova. These labels have consistently impressed fashion lovers, with their unique designs and contributions to the industry.

Adding to this glamorous lineup are revered national brands including Aje, Viktoria & Woods, and Effie Kats, alongside the luxe creations from DÈRMA Department, a popular label from Rundle Street.

Catherine Maglaris, the founder of DÈRMA Department shared, “I’m excited to join such an inspiring lineup at the Summer Pool Party. Events like this allow me to showcase the artistry and creativity of my brand and connect with a broader audience that truly appreciates fashion.”

Menswear will not be left behind, with Calibre and Politix set to present their latest refined tailoring and sophisticated styles. Vacay Swimwear will bring its coveted swimwear and resort wear collections, adding to the poolside vibe.

The event also celebrates a local milestone with Shades, a family-operated retailer in Rundle Mall, presenting premium global eyewear trends in acknowledgment of their 40th anniversary this December (read more about their journey here).

The festival’s official hair and makeup partners, Clip Joint Salons Creative Team and Media Makeup Academy, will also play their part in translating each designer’s vision onto runway, ensuring that the fashion shown captures the essence of each label.

Reflecting on the successful collaboration the previous year, Samantha Farrington, General Manager of Hotel Alba, stated, “We loved being part of ADL Fashion Week last year, and the overwhelming response showed us how much Adelaide appreciates premium fashion experiences. This year, we’re thrilled to transform our space once again and showcase even more amazing designers and what our restaurant ela offers at the Summer Pool Party.”

Guests will be greeted with a refreshing gin spritz upon arrival and can enjoy signature canapés and a two-hour drink package, courtesy of Hotel Alba’s restaurant ela. 10 percent of the ticket sales will be donated to the Jodi Lee Foundation, a South Australian organization dedicated to educating Australians about bowel cancer.

Tickets for this stylish event are priced at $120 and are available for purchase at ADLFASHIONWEEK.COM.

This unique event promises to be a feast for the senses, blending sun, style, and sophistication in celebration of Australian fashion and design.
