Houndwave, Adelaide’s Favourite Pooch-Friendly Music Festival Is Back

Houndwave is back again for its third year running to celebrate all of our local furry friends.

That’s right – Houndwave, Adelaide’s primary festival dedicated to celebrating our four-legged best friends, is back again for another year.

This annual event, run by the Adelaide West End Association, welcomes pooches of all shapes and sizes for a day full of live music, food, stalls, and prizes.

Oh, and humans can come along too, just as long as they have a true appreciation and love of dogs. No cats though, sorry.

There’ll be competitions running throughout the day, with best dressed, best trick, and best look-alike all up for grabs.

Don’t worry about breaking the bank on this one – Houndwave offers complimentary attendance to all patrons so that everyone can bask in the greatness of our puppy pals free of charge.

If you’re stomach’s howling, there will be plenty of local food vendors readily available to satisfy both you and your pooch’s appetites.

And what’s a celebration without a drink or two? Luckily, Fat Controller’s Bar will be on site to provide guests with plenty of refreshing vinos throughout the day.

Representatives from both the RSPCA and AWL SA and will also be in attendance, so bring along a generous spirit to help out some puppies in need.

Houndwave will take place on the 21 September at Light Square.
