When you’re planning a road trip, it’s easy to hit a bump in the road when it comes to getting to and fro. You might be convinced that you can squeeze all your luggage in the back of your Hyundai Getz, but the assumption may land you in some hot water when you realise nothing fits.

You also may not want to take your trusty Getz on a regional trip in case the car falls victim to Adelaide’s rough roads. A simple solution may be you upsizing or renting a vehicle.

Affordability is an obvious and genuine concern, but if you ask, you may receive. Local Adelaide family-owned business Simba Car Hire prides themselves on being the point of difference when it comes to other large corporate hire companies. And plus, it has never been more important to support SA businesses in these trying times.

Owners Ali Chandoo and Abbas Bandali, were really wowed by the support showed by customers through COVID-19, and wish to pay back their generosity with a business model that puts the customer first.

“During the pandemic we saw the local support with them hiring from us, since interstate travel was banned. We always try and give an extra percentage off for repeat customers.” Ali said.

Starting operation in 2019, the idea for Simba Car Hire came to Ali whilst he was in his driveway. From a fleet of 5 cars to now 300 cars, there seems to be no sign of stopping.

“I didn’t think that we’d ever be this popular and would compete with other corporate car services. I think one of the reasons why we differ from those multinational corporate services, is that we only hire new cars that will produce the best experience for our customers.

“Looking long term, we want to be recognised as the main car hire service in Australia. We believe that we are a great alternative that is family orientated and ethically sound. We highly encourage feedback and we are one of the only car hire companies where we issue a full refund up the collection of the vehicle if you decide to cancel.” Ali said.
