Since its inception in 1988, Dîner en Blanc has become a worldwide phenomenon. Known as one of society’s most glamorous outdoor picnics, the event is highly anticipated and shrouded in secrecy.
After a brief hiatus in 2018, Dîner en Blanc is returning to Adelaide and Phase 3 of registrations has opened. This is the last chance to put your name down for tickets.
Part of the allure of Dîner en Blanc is the sense of tradition. The event asks for a white dress code, and suggests an unspoken agreement that, come rain or shine, once you’re in, you’re in.
As previously announced, this year’s event is set to take place on November 30, 2019, and the registration date has arrived.
New event hosts KN Events say Adelaide audiences should expect the unexpected at this year’s Dîner en Blanc. There will also be a range of packages on offer, including the Sidewood Sabrage Experience, which includes a bottle of Sidewood Isabella Sparkling Wine, opened, magically, with a sabre.
