Howard Vineyard to host vibey Rosé & Dumpling festival this January long weekend

Dress up, gather your friends, and fill your glasses. This edition of Adelaide Hills winery Howard Vineyard’s Rosé & Dumpling Festival is set to be an energetic garden party bringing the long weekend celebrations in a big way.

There’s a vibrant, summery food and wine festival calling your name this January long weekend, and it’s rife with live music, bottles flowing, and New Year cheer. Howard Vineyard will host its annual Rosé and Dumpling Festival over two upbeat days kicking off the new year with delicious rose-tinted pours and a crowd of people who, if past years are anything to go by, will no doubt bring the energy.

The event will take place on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 January before a hard-earned day off on Monday. The two-day event will run from 11am to 7pm on Saturday and 11am to 6pm on Sunday, set among the beautiful backdrop that is Howard Vineyard’s stunning Adelaide Hills cellar door.

The festival will feature the vineyard’s own rosé, wine varieties, and a range of cocktails and beer. To pair, Howard Vineyard’s signature Korean kitchen will be firing up its festival menu with snacks and larger plates to choose from, and of course a special dumpling offering over the two days.

One of the winery’s raved-about events would not be complete though, without a lineup of local musicians, and for this year’s Rosé & Dumpling Festival, DJ DFOE will be behind the decks while Mr Buzzy Band brings the energy on the main stage. As usual, acoustic performances will soundtrack the lawns.

A new feature for 2026 is the Rosé Pavilion. This premium ticketed space is limited to just 70 spots per day. It includes reserved seating, a five-hour drinks package, food tokens and access to exclusive amenities.

Another new addition is the Rosé Spritz Garden Marquee, where Threefold Distilling Co will be making and shaking cocktails as well as G&T’s, providing additional shade and coverage.

“We are excited to feature our new luxe Rosé Pavilion, with a limited exclusive premium ticket package – which will be the place to be this Festival,” said Dave Jolly of Howard Vineyard.

Adorned with pink and white, and with its own bar, the Rosé Pavilion will be a vibe for sure.

Other ticket options include the Blush Terrace, which offers reserved seating under shade with views across the festival. Rosé Reserved Lawn tickets provide access to a dedicated lawn area with tables, chairs and umbrellas. General Admission tickets are also available, with seating provided throughout the grounds.

The weekend is fully family friendly and Sunday will include a dedicated Kids’ Zone with games, activities and face painting.

Clover Society Wine Club members can access discounted tickets using a promo code at the time of purchase. Early bird and first release tickets are limited, with further releases to follow once allocations sell out.

“Gather your friends and family for two epic days of rosé-sipping, dumpling-devouring, lawn-lounging fun in the stunning Adelaide Hills,” Dave said.
