After what has been close to a year spent nestled within Adelaide’s beloved Karma and Crow studio space, popular concept store Howdy Partner is closing its doors.
It follows the announcement that the fairy-lit industrial warehouse style cafe Karma and Crow in Richmond, a staple for those in Adelaide’s west and surrounds, is coming to an end. Its new location has been revealed to be inside the Yellow Matter space in Brooklyn Park – set to open mid-May.

Howdy Partner is known for its vintage western inspired vibes filling homes with vintage homewares, thrifty fashion, cowboy boots and classic vinyls, and they want to go out ‘in an absolute blaze of glory’. The store is inviting people to continue shopping and soaking up the groovy vibes until their last day on May 5th.
“We will keep putting out fun advents, curating and crafting groovy things and bringing the mojo dojo casa house vibes to the west right up until close so please come in and say goodbye,” the team said in an Instagram post.
The store is put together by collaborators Es Winter from homewares and gift shop See Someone Studio, Lillie Clark who brings the pre-loved fashion with Maybe April, jewellery creator Heather McNab from Fencesitter and Alyssum from Bloom by Alyssum.

All four from the Howdy Partner team also promise the chance for another shindig, celebrating a last hurrah within their Karma and Crow retail space (with details still to come).
The concept store presented Adelaide shoppers with curated vintage fashion made to suit the aesthetic of the store, and the team at Howdy Partner, who also spent their time working with a lot of Adelaide curators and creatives to feature their products along with their own.

“There aren’t a lot of retail spaces out there that are really immersive, interactive and feel safe for people to freely express themselves’, says Es of See Someone Studio.
“We wanted to encourage fun and creativity and welcome everyone to come in and explore what we hope to be a one-stop happy shop.”

While Howdy Partner will be closing their doors to their space within Karma and Crow on the 5th of May, Karma and Crow are set to close their own doors too, with plans to move into a new space not long after.
Make sure you get down to both Howdy Partner for all your western inspired vintage fashion and Karma and Crow for a coffee and warm meal before they shut their doors in that location.
