Huge Seafood Festival Returns To The Adelaide Central Market

Get a taste of South Australia’s best local seafood at the Seafood and Sounds Festival at the Adelaide Central Markets.

Ditch the fishing rods and buckets of bait because the Adelaide Central Markets are bringing the goods to you with the return of Seafood & Sounds, a two-day festival featuring seafood galore.

Landing at the markets on September 13, Seafood & Sounds festival will be showcasing all of South Australia’s best seafood produce.

With live music, limited edition seafood dishes from a variety of producers, free activities and local wine and gin on offer, this festival sounds like a fantastic outing for the whole family.

Something that’s bound to excite crowds is the return of the Chilli Crab Shack, hosted by Sprout Cooking School and Health Studio in the Producer in Residence stall.

The Chilli Crab Shack offers Asian-style specialty dishes, highlighting some of SA’s best seafood. We’re told to arm ourselves with bibs and crackers when we dive into these spectacular seafood dishes.

One of their signature dishes that will be available is the South Australian blue swimmer crab, flavoured with an Asian-style spicy chilli tamarind sauce, egg noodles, Thai herbs and lime.

With live music in the background to set the mood for a night, this might be the event to wear your loose pants (you’ll need room for the food baby) and enjoy a locally sourced feast of seafood and live music.

Seafood and Sounds Festival will be at the Adelaide Central Markets from Friday September 13 to Saturday September 14.
