Hugh Sheridan added to star-studded Carols By Candlelight line-up

Adelaide’s own Hugh Sheridan is announced as the latest performer for the 2022 SeaLink Carols by Candlelight joining the already huge lineup.

Adelaide’s own Hugh Sheridan is announced as the latest performer for the 2022 SeaLink Carols by Candlelight. It continues the triumphant return of the city’s ultimate Christmas concert, which will also feature Gold Class seats now available for purchase.

Hugh’s addition to an already star-studded Australian line-up confirms some of the country’s most seasoned talent. He says Carols will be an amazing night, a celebration like none other. “SeaLink Carols by Candlelight is an event with such great tradition, I love coming home to perform and I’m proud to be part of the 2022 event. “I’ll be warmed up and ready to go, having just performed in my new, national show Solitary Man, a couple of nights before at the Adelaide Festival Theatre.

“I’m looking forward to spending some time at home with my family and friends as the festival season kicks into gear,” says Hugh.

His talent across acting, singing and hosting has seen the Adelaide-born performer traverse the globe. Recently given a residence at Herb Alpert’s Vibrato Grill Jazz in LA, Hugh has been touring the festival circuit with his band California Crooners Club. The band is looking forward to releasing their debut album in the coming year.

SeaLink Carols by Candlelight will also see performances from Conrad Sewell, Samantha Jade, Taylor Henderson, Vika and Linda Bull, Lucy Durack, The Voice Grand Finalist, Thndo and Irish tenor, Tommy Fleming.

Avid carol-goers can now purchase a limited number of premium Carols Gold Class seats, which provide reserved seating with a prime view of the stage.

All proceeds from the 40 Carols Gold Class seats go to Carols custodians St John Ambulance, purchases directly helping a charity supporting all South Australians.

The December 11 event begins from 2.00pm with an afternoon of free rides, songs, giveaways, and of course, Father Christmas.

Carol proceedings begin at 8.00pm with the evening concert hosted by Channel 7’s Rosanna Mangiarelli, Amelia Mulcahy and Will Goodings.

The Adelaide Concert Orchestra will provide the night’s uplifting festive music, and vocal assistance to all main performers provided by the Adelaide Philharmonia Chorus and Young Adelaide Voices choirs.

When: Sunday December 11 from 2pm

Where: Elder Park, King William Road, Adelaide
