Humphrey B. Bear is making his return to Adelaide at a family-friendly event, “Sing and Dance with Humphrey!”. It will be a show filled with entertainment and laughter (and perhaps a dose of nostalgia for the adults attending).
For those unfamiliar with the iconic Humphrey B. Bear, he’s a loveable character who has been popular with generations of children and adults alike. Known for his boundless charm and signature yellow overalls, Humphrey has been a huge figure for decades.
He is one of the most successful children’s pre-schooler brands in Australian television history having one of the longest running children’s television programs in the world. Humphrey was so popular; Australia Post even put him on a postage stamp.
Humphrey B. Bear will take centre stage in a 30-minute interactive children’s sing-along show at the Goodwood Community Centre on Friday, November 3rd, 2023. It will be a show that will invite families to join in the singing and dancing.
However, the fun doesn’t stop with the performance. Families will have the opportunity to meet Humphrey B. Bear in person with an exclusive meet and greet.
The “Sing and Dance with Humphrey!” isn’t just about nostalgia; it’s also about making a meaningful difference.
The event is organised by Treasure Boxes, a South Australian children’s charity dedicated to supporting over 3000 vulnerable and at-risk children annually. They provide essential items such as clothing, nappies, cots, bedding, toys, and toiletries to those in need.
In the spirit of giving back, ticket prices are as follows: Show Tickets are $15.00 per child, and accompanying adults can attend for free. Additionally, an Exclusive Meet and Greet with Humphrey B. Bear is available for just $5.00.
