Hypnotist Matt Hale returns for ABSOLUTE CHAOS this Fringe season

Hypnotist Matt Hale is bringing ABSOLUTE CHAOS to Adelaide Fringe 2022, with his brand-new, all-ages-friendly show of Hypno-laughs.

Strap in and hold tight!  This party pumping, high octane hour of Hypno-hijinx is about to land in Adelaide.

Hypnotist Matt Hale is bringing ABSOLUTE CHAOS to Adelaide Fringe 2022, with his brand-new, all-ages-friendly show of Hypno-laughs, running the entire Fringe season from February 18 until March 20.

The sell-out, award-winning and headlining Fringe artist returns for his third Adelaide Fringe festival, with 28 performances at Gluttony.

“If you thought last year was Bonkers…well, this year it’s Absolute Chaos!” Matt says.

ABSOLUTE CHAOS is a ridiculously fun one-hour comedy hypnosis show, suitable for families, all-ages and tastes.

No two shows are ever the same, where all participants can be volunteers – audience members can choose to enjoy the show from the stage, or their seats.

Matt’s modern brand of Hypno-laughs turns the traditional hypnosis show on its head. Using seemingly magical powers, Matt hypnotises his volunteers to unlock the incredible ability of their mind.

Using the power of suggestion, audience members are transported into chaotic situations where they release talents and creativity, they never knew they had, with absolutely chaotic results.

Audiences and critics alike embraced the energy and craziness of Matt’s 2021 show Bonkers, which garnered incredible reviews, winning awards at both Fringe World Perth and Adelaide Fringe.

Matt says this year’s ultimate feelgood show ABSOLUTE CHAOS is a hypnosis show based on his signature crowd-pleasing formula, on a more extreme scale.

“The unique party vibe of Bonkers was a great adventure for the whole audience – not just those on stage,” Matt says.

“Everyone embraced the idea of setting one hour aside to have some pure, out and out ridiculous fun.  I’ve built that into an even bigger experience for my new show, with a few surprises.”

Matt says he is looking forward to his third Adelaide Fringe and, despite the challenges, he proved last year that tweaking his show to be socially distanced certainly didn’t sacrifice the laughs.
