Special guests have been announced for Ian Moss’ upcoming One Guitar, One Night Only tour, which is coming to Adelaide on June 5.
Georgia Germein, Lo, Melody Moko, Nat Vazer, and Sinead Burgess will join “Mossy” as he plays to his fans acoustically in theatres in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Brisbane for the first time in five years.
Adelaide’s guest star will be Georgia Germein.
Germein is a talented folk/pop singer-songwriter and producer for Adelaide’s quickly rising sibling band, Germein. Georgia has a voice and a cannon of songs that have taken her around the world, received airplay on Triple J, and have allowed her to open for artists including Jess Glynne, Sting, and Paul Simon, and to perform at UK’s Isle of Wight Festival.
In Perth, stunning independent local talent Lo will open the night. Her debut EP Plan For An Independent Future was released in April 2020 and quickly grabbed attention with tracks from the release added to multiple Spotify playlists and airplay on Triple J and BBC Radio.
In Sydney, Alt-Country darling Melody Moko who’s stunning sophomore album, Two Kids & A Radio, debuted at #1 on the ARIA Australian Country Albums Chart and AIR Independent Albums in September 2020, will join Moss. She has been nominated for the prestigious Australian Music Prize.
In Melbourne, songwriter Nat Vazer will open the show. Nat’s debut AlbumIs This Offensive and Loud? was dubbed ‘one of the year’s most immersive releases’ by Rolling Stone magazine as well as being named in NME Australia’s Top 20 albums of 2020 and nominated for Best Breakthrough Artist at the 2020 Music Victoria Awards.
And finally, in Brisbane, singer/ songwriter & multi-instrumentalist Sinead Burgess will open the sold out show. Sinead has toured with James Bay, The Script, Don McLean, The Shires, Joe Bonamassa, to name a few, and in 2020, Sinead was nominated for an APRA Global Music Award for Breakthrough Songwriter of the Year.
