The CrazySexyCool 30th Anniversary Tour will kick off on February 29 at Trusts Arena in Auckland and ends at RAC Arena in Perth on March 9. Adelaide fans will be excited to know that in the middle there, TLC will be headed to our state on Sunday March 3rd and playing at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre.
TLC, comprised of the dynamic duo Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins and Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas, will treat fans to an unforgettable performance featuring selections from their 1994 Diamond-certified album, “CrazySexyCool,” released exactly 30 years ago.
This album spawned chart-toppers like “Waterfalls” and “Creep,” solidifying TLC’s place in music history. Alongside these iconic tracks, fans can expect to hear additional hits and revel in the group’s timeless music.
Chilli expressed her excitement about returning to Australia, stating, “I’m so excited to return to Australia! This is the album that put us on the map with Aussie fans and showed the world who we really are. And to mark 30 years, this will be quite the celebration!”
The tour is sure to be a momentous occasion for fans who have cherished TLC’s music over the years.
In Australia, “CrazySexyCool” enjoyed massive success, reaching the top 5 and maintaining a position in the top 100 for an impressive 76 weeks. The album achieved double platinum status, further emphasizing its enduring appeal.
With over 85 million records sold worldwide, TLC holds the distinction of being the best-selling American girl group of all time. Their impressive resume includes 4 Grammy Awards, 4 multi-platinum albums (two of which achieved Diamond status), four number one singles, and ten Top 10 singles. Beyond their musical achievements, TLC’s influence extends to pop culture, hip-hop, R&B, fashion, and female empowerment.
