Adelaide’s music scene is set to sizzle this October as the much-awaited Harvest Rock II announces its sensational lineup. Organised by Secret Sounds, the two-day festival promises an electrifying experience, featuring exclusive Australian performances by renowned global superstars.
After a 12-year hiatus, Jamiroquai makes a triumphant return to Australian stages, headlining Harvest Rock II on Saturday, 28 October. Fronted by the iconic Jay Kay, the international band is all set to thrill Adelaide’s music enthusiasts with their infectious blend of funk, soul, and pop.
The festivities continue on Sunday, 29 October, with another Australian exclusive performance by the multi-talented Beck. With his full band, Beck is poised to deliver an enthralling show, mesmerising the crowd with his eclectic and captivating sound.
Adding to the excitement, the ultimate disco superstars, Nile Rodgers & Chic, will grace Harvest Rock II with their groovy tunes, including iconic hits like “Le Freak.”
The stellar lineup doesn’t stop there, as it includes other stellar acts such as Flight Facilities, Chromeo, Ladyhawke, and Paul Kelly, the beloved South Australian home-grown hero.
Harvest Rock II boasts an impressive array of musical talent, with appearances by Baker Boy, Julia Jacklin, Chet Faker, Ocean Alley, Bad // Dreams, Thelma Plum, Vera Blue, and more. Notable collaborations are in store as well, with The Rolling Stone Revue featuring Adalita of Magic Dirt, Tex Perkins, and Tim Rogers of You Am I.
“Excitement levels for the return of Harvest Rock have just gone ‘cosmic’, with an incredible line-up of international and local artists coming to our city’s parklands this October,” Minister Zoe Bettison says.
Set in the picturesque Murlawirrapurka & Ityamai-Itpina / Rymill & King Rodney Parks, Harvest Rock II promises a delightful blend of sound and taste over two action-packed days.
In its inaugural year, the festival drew nearly 24,000 attendees, with almost 7,000 hailing from interstate and overseas. The economic impact was staggering, generating a return of $16.5 million in total economic activity for Adelaide and setting hotel room bookings to their highest for the year.
Tickets for the festival will go on sale to the general public on Wednesday, 9 August, at 8.30 am ACST / 9.00 am AEST. Festivalgoers can choose from a variety of ticket options, including access to the VIP Village, Harvest Lounge, private suites overlooking the Harvest Stage, and platinum tickets.
