The time has come, SA! Australia’s favourite outdoor cinema, Moonlight Cinema, is gearing up for its 28th summer season.
Presented by EVT, the cinema promises a stellar line-up of 2023’s Box Office hits, festive favourites, and family-friendly films from November 2023 to April 2024.
Set against the backdrop of five iconic Australian venues, including picturesque parklands in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide, Moonlight Cinema, in collaboration with Energizer, promises a cinematic experience like no other.
This season’s highlights include Hollywood blockbusters such as “The Hunger Games: Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes”, “Trolls Band Together”, and the romantic comedy “Anyone But You” featuring Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell.
Fans of Barbie are in for a treat with a ‘Pink Party’ screening of the film starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling on December 8 & 9. Attendees are encouraged to don pink attire and immerse themselves in the vibrant atmosphere.
As the festive season approaches, Christmas Favourites presented by Telstra will feature classic Christmas movies including Love Actually, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, Die Hard, Home Alone, How the Grinch Stole Christmas and Elf.
The December program also includes special preview screenings of the critically acclaimed May December starring Natalie Portman and Julianne Moore and the highly anticipated Next Goal Wins starring Michael Fassbender and directed by Academy Award® winner Taika Waititi.
Guests can also experience some 90’s nostalgia with Jurassic Park (1993) and The Mighty Ducks (1992) screening this December.

Moonlight Cinema is not just about the films. Guests can indulge in a range of on-site activations, gourmet food, bars, and even bean beds for their pets. Exclusive experiences like the Platinum Experience, AAMI Gold Grass, Connoisseur Lounge, and K9 Natural ensure a memorable evening for all. Additionally, the Garnier Garden Cart and the official Aperol Spritz Bar add to the festive spirit.
