After a well due move from the cosy but… well… excessively cosy James Place location, popular Vietnamese chain, Soonta, has moved to a larger, updated store in the new Rundle Mall Plaza food court.
Soonta built their brand by focusing on healthy Vietnamese food with super speedy service. By doing so, their South Australian business has expanded to over 12 stores in 10 years, the newest of which being the Rundle Mall location.
Taking space right next to gigantic retailer, H&M, the new store is all fresh wooden fit-out, greenery and spacious seating. And to celebrate this move, Soonta are holding a, shall we say, ‘souper’ competition.
Picture it, a bowl of beef soup that normally serves SEVEN healthy individuals per person, ten combatants all sitting around a table and a horde of onlookers chanting around them as they inhale the broth.
Alright, it might not be that dramatic but we’re expecting something hilarious.
The Souper Bowl Competition is taking place this Saturday, June 1, at their Rundle Mall Plaza store and spectators are encouraged to come by. Soonta also have a range of options to munch on while you watch your friend enjoy themselves.
So the only thing to wonder about is the prize you’re sipping (drinking) towards. A $300 Soonta E-Gift card!
Be wary though, only serious contenders are applying because there’s only 10 spots in this session. To enter, you must fill an online form (there’s a signed waver on the day too) which can be accessed here.
You can find Soonta’s newest store at Level 1, 44-60 Rundle Mall,
Adelaide, SA 5000.
