‘How To Make A Plant Love You’ Workshops Have Arrived For Your Not-So-Green Fingers

With tickets starting at $20 you will not only learn how to NOT kill your plants, but you’ll become the best darn plant owner out there.

There’s nothing more depressing than seeing a sloppy, droopy and brown plant. Unfortunately, it seems to be a somewhat common occurrence despite the current plant obsession sweeping the nation.

We’re pleased to inform you that MOD. on North Terrace is having a workshop series from September 1 to September 27 consisting of four workshops to help your planting regime.

These workshops will help you to develop your planting skills so hopefully your lovely green friends can thrive.

The four workshops, starting at $20, provide a variety of info to #savetheplants.

South Australian Native Plants with Jenny Deans (Sun 1 Sep: 2 – 3:30pm)

Jenny Deans will showcase how to grow native plants from the jungle and even give you a rare plant after the session. Here, you’ll learn how to water your plants effectively and be shown basic care.

Introduction to Indoor Plants with Emma Sadie Thomson (Fri 6 Sep: 6 – 7pm)

An introduction to plant care. Easy … yet so so very difficult. You’ll learn how to re-pot your plant, tackling pests and diseases, and the very basics of raising a baby plant. You’ll get a free drink on arrival and take home a potted plant and homemade pest control.

Moss at MOD. with Jenny Deans (Sun 22 Sep: 2 – 3pm) &
(3 – 4pm)

Here, you’ll learn all about moss and its positive impact on plants. You’ll also learn about the ecology and culture of moss. You’ll even receive a moss freebie after the workshop.

Kokedama with Emma Sadie Thomson (Fri 27 Sep: 6 – 7pm)

Make those ugly plants beautiful with this Japanese Kokedama course with stylist Emma Sadie Thomson. Learn how to create beautiful hanging plants and impress visitors with your fabulous plant styling.
