Chocolate lovers that missed the chance to snag a piece of the viral sensation, Dubai’s pistachio-filled bar, can try their luck again as 1000 more hit The Turkish Delight Mediterranean Sweetery this morning.
The much-anticipated chocolate treat has become an instant hit in Adelaide, flying off the shelves at the Central Market location and forcing waitlists – a craze store owner Mona Hassan didn’t expect.
“We got about 800 pieces last time, and they were gone in less than a week. It’s crazy how customers buy them in bulk for their families.”
To meet the demand, a new order is expected to arrive at the Rundle Street store by 7am today, and Central Market at 10am. Hassan confirms that they will have about 1,000 pieces available between both shops, and by the end of the week, another 1,000 will be stocked.

The response has been so strong that Hassan reports customers have been reserving their chocolates in advance, with over 100 people putting down deposits.
“We’ve been taking orders over the phone and online. The minute they arrive tomorrow, we’ll set aside chocolates for those who’ve already paid.”
But what makes this Dubai chocolate so irresistible?
She explains, “It’s the quality and the taste. The pistachio inside the chocolate is so delicious. People love it, and they keep coming back for more.”
For those eager to get their hands on some today, Hassan recommends arriving early.
“People can walk in and buy the chocolates over the counter, but the ones who paid a deposit will be able to collect theirs first.”
Aside from the Dubai chocolate, the store also offers a variety of other delights, including Turkish delight, Lebanese Baklava, Mamoul dates, and Turkish coffee, all of which are available to enjoy in-store.
